Job summary

Scantec Recruitment is seeking a Machine Minder / Operator for a leading FMCG Packaging manufacturer in Wrexham. This position involves ensuring the smooth operation of automated manufacturing lines, participating in Continuous Improvement activities, and adhering to safety policies. Ideal candidates will have a technical background and experience from a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with opportunities for career development through formal training.

Qualifications

• Technically-minded candidates from a similar FMCG or general manufacturing background sought.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve target reliability on assigned Line(s).
• Accurate use of ICONICS to track performance.
• Adherence to SAP Production Plan.
• Completion of TPM activities on assigned Line(s).
• Complete First Line Maintenance.
• Tackle minor breakdowns and escalate when necessary.
• Manage KANBAN levels of assigned Line(s).
• Work accurately to SAP Production plan to avoid Under/Over Production.
• Participate in C.I. activities, PPS sessions and Tier meetings.
• 6S Audit Completion of assigned area.
• Adherence to all Site Safety Policies & Procedures.
• Reporting of accidents, unsafe conditions and behaviours.
• Documentation compliance (control plan, pack spec).
• SAP QM completion.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
