Owen Payne Recruitment has partnered with a well-established food manufacturing business in Wolverhampton to recruit Machine Minders. The role involves operating production equipment, maintaining quality and safety standards, and helping drive continuous improvement.

You'll join a growing team, with full training and clear progression into senior roles. The shift pattern runs Monday to Thursday 06:00–15:00 and Friday 06:00–14:30, with an hourly pay rate of around £12.71–£13.10.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating production machinery in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in manufacturing.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate production equipment to keep lines moving.
• Keep production line running smoothly and report issues promptly.
• Complete start-up and close-down procedures on machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on line equipment.
• Analyse live data to support performance evaluation.
• Deliver the daily production plan for the department.
• Support GMP standards and assist audits.
• Take on additional duties as required.
