Job summary

Staffline is recruiting for a Night Shift Machine Minder in Elm, Wisbech. This full-time role is 5 days out of 7 with a 10pm–6am shift, and pay £16.10–£17 per hour (after training). The work environment is chilled, handling fresh produce.

You will monitor machine performance, minimise downtime, complete quality documentation, and ensure product meets customer specifications. You may train other workers and handle weigh checks, wash-downs and routine maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and develop in role.
• Ability to manage own workload and pro-active problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain own workload to ensure machine efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Carry out checks on products and perform machine wash downs.
• Train other workers and complete quality documentation to required standards.

Your Time at Work

As a Machine Minder you will responsible for your own workload - ensuring efficiency of machines, minimising down time and defective packs. Check weighing products, carrying out process checks and machine wash downs. Other duties include:

• Meeting customer specifications.
• Training other workers
• Completion of quality documentation - ensuring it is accurate and legible.

The work environment is chilled - fresh produce.
