Job summary

Ctrg Limited in Wisbech is seeking a reliable Machine Minder to keep production lines running smoothly and meet daily targets. The role requires focus, manual dexterity and the ability to work both independently and with the team.

You will monitor equipment, perform basic adjustments, report faults, and uphold safety and quality standards. The role is physical and fast-paced, with a pay rate of £13.55 per hour rising to £14.11 after 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor assigned machinery and production equipment.
• Ensure machinery runs efficiently and continuously throughout the shift.
• Maintain production output while meeting quality standards.
• Perform regular machine checks and identify faults, defects, or performance issues.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting where trained to do so.
• Report mechanical faults, breakdowns, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Work closely with engineers and production teams to achieve production targets.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and company quality standards.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records where required.
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and compliant with company standards.

Rate: £13.55 per hour, with the opportunity to increase to £14.11 per hour after 12 weeks' service, subject to performance.

Hours/Shifts Available: Wednesday to Saturday / Thursday to Saturday: 5:15pm to 3:00am
