Kingfisher plc in London is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to support delivery and operationalisation of advanced AI solutions for our Kingfisher brands. You will help build scalable ML systems, ensuring models run in live environments.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, software design.
• Experience with classical ML and NLP/deep learning.
• Strong Python and libraries: Pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter.
• Experience with SQL and data pipelines for model training.
• Understanding model evaluation, monitoring, production deployment.
• Familiarity with Git, CI, and containerisation.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML models and support their deployment into production.
• Write production-quality code that is robust, efficient and maintainable.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of pipelines, tooling and automation.
• Apply good engineering standards and practices in model development.
• Monitor performance and optimise models in production.
• Work with colleagues to understand requirements and priorities.
• Share knowledge and support a collaborative team culture.
