About Tellme

Tellme is an AI-driven platform that enriches visitor experiences at attractions such as museums, aquariums, and heritage sites. We utilize computer vision and generative AI to deliver interactive and personalized experiences directly to visitors' phones.

Following successful pilots with Madame Tussauds and National Museums Wales, we have closed our pre-seed funding round and are building a scalable platform for wider deployment. We are establishing our founding engineering team and are hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of our core AI systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Computer Vision: Develop systems to help our app understand what visitors are looking at, using techniques like image embeddings, similarity-based approaches (e.g., CLIP, vector search), or traditional methods such as classification and object detection (e.g., MobileNet, YOLO).
2. RAG Systems, Data Pipelines & Internal Agents: Design data pipelines supporting AI features, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), internal LLM-based tools, and content workflows. Experience with vector stores, agent frameworks, or scalable data workflows is relevant.
3. MLOps & Deployment: Build and maintain infrastructure for our AI models, including serving models via APIs, performance monitoring, and deploying to the cloud. AWS experience is a plus; experience with other cloud platforms or edge devices is valuable.
4. Collaboration & Growth: Work closely with the founder on product roadmap, priorities, and technical decisions. There is potential for growth into leadership roles as the company scales.

• Salary: £50,000–£70,000 plus 0–2% share options, depending on experience.
