Job summary

Faculty ищет опытного ML‑лида в Лондоне для задания технического направления крупных проектов и наставничества команд.

Qualifications

• Set the technical direction for complex ML projects, balance trade-offs, and guide team priorities;
• Design, implement, and maintain reliable, scalable ML and software systems while justifying key architectural decisions;
• Define project problems, develop roadmaps, and oversee delivery across multiple workstreams in ill-defined, high-risk environments;
• Drive the development of shared resources and libraries across the organisation and guide engineers contributing to them;
• Lead hiring processes and make informed selection decisions;
• Mentor multiple individuals and foster team growth;
• Develop and execute recommendations for adopting new technologies and changing ways of working;
• Act as a technical expert and coach for customers;
• Estimate large workstreams and defend the rationale to stakeholders.

• Demonstrate deep technical expertise in particular topics and broad knowledge for solving complex problems;
• Have strong Python skills and practical experience operationalising models with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch;
• Be an expert in at least one major Cloud Solution Provider, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS;
• Have experience leading teams to build full-stack web applications;
• Have hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes;

• Take ownership of successful project outcomes;
• Communicate effectively with technical teams, customers, and non-technical stakeholders.
