Job Title: Radiotherapy Aide

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, renowned for high-quality patient care, education, and research, offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our friendly team of Radiotherapy Aides.

This role involves performing administrative, clerical, and reception duties, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients attending Radiotherapy. You will be the approachable 'first face' for patients throughout their radiotherapy pathway.

We seek an efficient, organized person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, IT literacy, and an interest in healthcare and technology.

Main Duties

1. Carry out reception duties and clerical support for the radiotherapy department responsibly and efficiently.
2. Provide patient support to assist the patient pathway.
3. Work flexible hours to support effective service provision.

Person Specification

Education/Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent in English and Mathematics
• Level 3 or higher education or training

Experience

• Experience in client-facing roles
• Experience with computer systems managing bookings or similar
• Previous admin and clerical experience
• Experience in a hospital environment
