Job summary

Rotherwood in Bingley is seeking an experienced Machine Operative for an initial 6-month contract. You will operate and monitor manufacturing machinery, adjust settings, and support daily production targets on the night shift (Monday to Thursday, 7pm–5am).

The role requires a forklift licence and a solid understanding of health and safety procedures, with a focus on quality and teamwork in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or related industry.
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
• FLT licence is essential.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.

Machine Operative - 6 Month Contract

Location: Bingley

Contract: 6 months

Hours: Monday to Thursady 7pm to 5am

Pay Rate: £17.50

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in belting, printing, flexible packaging, flooring manufacture, or a related industry
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
• A reliable and positive approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence - essential
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
