Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a M365 Engineer to shape the digital workplace for thousands of users. In our Modern Workplace team you will design, implement and support Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and related automation to boost collaboration and security.

This permanent role is full-time with hybrid onsite work, minimum 2 days per week at Brackmills, Northampton. You will work with architects, analysts and infrastructure teams to deliver projects, automate processes with

Qualifications

  • Experience administering and supporting Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
  • Experience developing automation scripts using PowerShell.
  • Experience with ITIL-based service management and incident handling.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions including Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Viva Copilot and Power Platform.
  • Lead technical improvements to enhance collaboration, productivity and user experience.
  • Develop automation solutions using Power Automate, PowerShell, Graph API.
  • Support migrations, deployments and integrations of Microsoft 365.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Collaborate with security teams to maintain compliance and governance.
  • Produce technical documentation and knowledge articles.
  • Mentor colleagues within the team.

Job description

As a M365 Engineer at Howdens, you'll play a key role in shaping and evolving the digital workplace experience for thousands of users.Working within our Modern Workplace team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting modern workplace technologies, with a strong focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and telephony.
