Job summary

The Government Legal Department is transforming its Digital, Data and Cyber division by delivering modern, secure Microsoft 365 solutions. We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Developer to design and deliver user-focused apps across SharePoint Online and the Power Platform, including governance and CoE toolkit initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience building apps on Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
• Experience with governance and security standards.
• Ability to translate business needs into digital solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint Online intranet development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Canvas and Model Driver Apps
• Develop custom SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions where more tailored functionality is required.
• Use PnP PowerShell to automate administration, deployment and governance activities.
• Use the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Toolkit to support effective Power Platform governance, monitoring and adoption.
• Work across the full solution lifecycle, following Microsoft 365 security, governance and accessibility standards.
• Work with business stakeholders, business analysts and technical colleagues to understand needs and translate them into effective digital solutions.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies, technical documentation and continuous improvement, sharing ideas and helping the team develop better ways of working.
