Job summary

Nigel Wright Recruitment is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to join a technology services business delivering Microsoft 365 projects for SME customers. This hands-on, customer-facing role leads delivery of security, device management and onboarding projects.

You will work with a junior engineer and wider technical team, owning project delivery from initial engagement to completion, and mentor colleagues while supporting cloud migration and security standardisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 implementation and onboarding projects.
• Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, device management, and securing Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Experience in MSP environments and Azure migrations.
• Microsoft certifications relevant to Modern Workplace technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 security and device management solutions aligned to industry best practice.
• Configure and implement: Conditional Access, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
• Manage device onboarding across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines and customer communications.
• Support ongoing improvement of customer security posture and standardisation initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior technical team members.
• Assist with cloud migration and infrastructure projects where required.
• Contribute to service improvements, documentation and technical best practices.

I am looking for an experienced Modern Workplace Consultant to join a growing technology services business delivering Microsoft 365-focused projects for SME customers.

This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll lead the delivery of Microsoft 365 security, device management and onboarding projects, helping organisations modernise their workplace environments while improving security, compliance and user experience.

Working alongside a junior engineer and wider technical team, you'll take ownership of project delivery from initial client engagement through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Microsoft 365 onboarding and implementation projects for customers.
• Deliver Microsoft 365 security and device management solutions aligned to industry best practice.
• Configure and implement:
• Conditional Access
• Exchange Online
• SharePoint Online
• OneDrive and Microsoft Teams
• Manage device onboarding across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines and customer communications.

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Conditional Access
• Device compliance and endpoint management
• Experience securing and managing Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, including:
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Exposure to Azure migrations and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Microsoft certifications relevant to Modern Workplace technologies.
