Job summary

Skills for Security is seeking an apprentice to support M&G Fire protection across Essex. You will install, maintain and fault-find on fire protection, fire alarm and related systems, while learning on the job.

You’ll train at our Dagenham centre, one week every eight weeks, working toward a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship. Expect hands-on tasks, assessments, and real projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS.
• Live within the Essex area.
• Full UK Drivers Licence.
• Maths and English at grade 4/C or above.

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

• Fire Protection
• Fire Suppression
• Fire Alarms

Entry Requirements

• Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS
• Live within the Essex area
• Full UK Drivers Licence
• Have both Maths & English at grade 4/C or above

Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Dagenham centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.
