Job summary

Equans invites applications for an LV/HV M&E Technician to operate and maintain large boiler plants and 11kV electrical generating equipment across UK sites. The role emphasizes safe working practices, permits to work, and thorough documentation control. Training in LV/HV accreditation may be provided.

Candidates should demonstrate fault-finding skills, proficiency with CAFM systems, and a solid IT/office toolkit. A background in CHPs and energy systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Electrical trades background with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose LV/HV equipment.
• Experience with risk assessments and safe working procedures.

Equans Embedded Energy operates multiple customer sites with large-scale embedded energy capacity across the UK, providing specialist management of onsite generation for industrial processes and the ability to export to the Grid. We combine multiple technologies to meet our customers’ specific needs, and provide design, build, operate and maintenance services. Our skills and expertise can help industrial businesses to achieve their carbon reduction goals.

We are experts in many technologies, including combined heat and power (CHP), biomass, and energy from waste. By locating generation on customers’ sites we provide our customers with industry leading safety management, reduced energy costs and carbon footprint and assured energy security for their operational needs.
