Equans UK & Ireland is seeking an M&E Technician for Barnet Hospital to perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical building services. The role includes a 24-hour on-call rota and a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will work across HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam, and plant room systems, ensuring safety and high service standards in a live hospital environment.

Equans is looking for an M&E Technician to join our team at Barnet Hospital. This is a full time role with participation in a 24 hour on call rota. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Who are you?

• Experienced in mechanical and electrical building services installation and maintenance
• Skilled in planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation and refurbishment works
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, gas, medical gas, steam and plant room systems
• Able to manage works efficiently, meet response times and maintain accurate CAFM records

Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a live hospital environment

Safety conscious when using tools, equipment, access systems and PPE

Professional, courteous and respectful towards patients, visitors, staff and clients

Willing to undertake relevant training and qualify as an Authorised Person or Competent Person

Willing to participate in the 24 hour on call rota
