Job summary

Trevett Project Services is seeking a Progressive Water Supervisor to join a fast-paced Mechanical Team in London. The role focuses on delivering water safety, hygiene and compliance across a major healthcare estate, using judgement to influence standards and develop technical capability.

You will supervise delivery teams, mentor Competent Persons, investigate non-conformances and ensure risk is identified, assessed and escalated while maintaining auditable records and high safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience in water hygiene, water safety or healthcare estates compliance.
• Detailed knowledge of HTM 04-01, ACOP L8 and HSG274.
• Experience investigating non-conformances and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience maintaining compliance records and digital management systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery teams and specialist contractors.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Competent Persons.
• Investigate non-conformances and escalate risks appropriately.
• Ensure inspections, maintenance, monitoring and remedial actions are delivered in a compliant, auditable manner across the Trust estate.

Bring your Water Safety expertise to a thriving Healthcare contract and take on a highly responsible technical role supporting one of London's largest and most complex acute healthcare estates.

Use your judgement and experience to influence standards, strengthen technical capability and develop others, while continuing to build your own experience across Water Safety, assurance and technical leadership.

The role is focused on ensuring that all prescribed inspections, maintenance activities, monitoring regimes and remedial actions are delivered in a compliant and auditable manner across the Trust estate. The postholder will supervise delivery teams and specialist contractors, provide technical guidance and mentoring to Competent Persons (CPs), investigate non-conformances, and ensure risks are identified, assessed and escalated appropriately.

Ideal qualifications;

• * Legionella management and water hygiene training.
• * HNC/HND, NVQ Level 4/5 or equivalent technical qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Water
• * Hygiene or Estates-related discipline.

Person Specification/Requirements:

• * Experience working within water hygiene, water safety or healthcare estates compliance.
