Vickerstock is seeking an M&E Site Supervisor to manage maintenance work on water and wastewater sites in Fermanagh. The role focuses on one site at a time, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery within a long-term framework.
With a strong mix of mechanical and electrical duties, you will coordinate labour, RAMS, permits and inductions while liaising with clients and sub-contractors to drive successful project outcomes and career progression.
M&E Site Supervisor | Water and Wastewater | Fermanagh
If you are an M&E supervisor living in the west and spending half your week on the road to Belfast, this is worth a conversation.
A major utilities contractor is hiring a Mechanical and Electrical Site Supervisor to look after maintenance work on water and wastewater sites across County Fermanagh. The role sits on a long-term maintenance framework, so this is steady, local work with a pipeline behind it rather than a single project that ends in six months.
You will take charge of one site at a time, see the job through, then move on to the next. The work is a genuine mix of mechanical and electrical, so no two jobs are quite the same. It is a newly created position, added as the business grows its team in Northern Ireland.
You will be the person who makes things happen on site. That means organising your labour and subcontractors, keeping the job safe and on programme, and making sure the quality is right before you sign it off.
Day to day, you will run the site paperwork and briefings (RAMS, permits, inductions, toolbox talks), keep an eye on subcontractor safety and performance, and keep good records of what has been done, by whom and with what. You will also be the main face on site for the client and anyone else involved in the works.
This could suit an experienced Site Supervisor, an M&E Chargehand or Foreman ready for the next step, or a Site Manager who would rather work closer to home.
