Job summary

MCS Group is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to lead delivery of mechanical and electrical services on major construction projects in the UK and Ireland. You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time and compliant delivery.

Ideal candidates have proven M&E site management experience on large-scale developments, strong coordination skills, and a valid CSCS card. Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland is required.

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting an M&E Site Manager for our client, a leading construction contractor delivering high-quality projects across the UK and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E professional to take responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical services across major construction projects, working closely with project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and delivery of MEP services across live construction projects.
• Take responsibility for coordinating M&E works, ensuring delivery is completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Managers, design teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure effective project delivery.
• Monitor installation quality, progress, sequencing and compliance with project requirements.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging and project close-out activities.
• Attend project meetings, provide progress updates and maintain accurate site documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Assist with resolving technical issues and coordinating solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager, MEP Site Manager, Building Services Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and building services installations.
• Experience delivering large-scale hotel, residential, mixed-use or commercial construction projects.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination, installation sequencing and commissioning processes.
• Strong communication, organisational and site coordination skills.
• Relevant construction or engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC or equivalent).
• CSR/CSCS card required.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to projects as required.
