Job summary

ARC Group, a London-based M&E contractor, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in London. The role covers the full commercial management of M&E projects from tender to final account. You will bring a mechanical or electrical background with strong commercial awareness and the ability to work independently while collaborating with project teams.

Salary circa £65,000 plus package; visa sponsorship not available; London-based position.

Qualifications

• Experience as Quantity Surveyor in M&E/Building Services.
• Mechanical or Electrical background; Electrical experience preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of M&E projects from commencement through to completion.
• Prepare valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.
• Managing variations, valuations and change control.
• Subcontract procurement and management.
• Review contracts and commercial documentation.
• Managing commercial risks and identifying opportunities.
• Work with Project Managers and Contracts Managers.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
• Support successful delivery of projects.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
