Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on the EGL2 project in the Peterhead area. You will manage commercial delivery for mechanical and electrical works, prepare interim valuations, administer NEC contracts, and support procurement and final accounts.

A robust qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and RICS status or progress toward chartership are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical packages and related commercial processes.
• Experience administering NEC contracts is advantageous.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a project team.
• Membership of RICS or working towards chartership would be advantageous.

• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.
