Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead mechanical and electrical packages on major construction projects across South Wales. You will oversee design coordination, procurement, and commissioning to ensure programmes, budgets and quality targets are met.

You'll coordinate M&E subcontractors, site teams and consultants, manage risk, resolve technical issues and drive delivery from procurement through to handover, ensuring compliant, integrated building services that

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager or Building Services Manager within a construction contractor
• Experience delivering mechanical and electrical packages on large-scale building projects, ideally across education, commercial or public sectors
• Strong technical knowledge of building services, design coordination, installation, testing and commissioning
• Excellent project management, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive delivery against programme and budget

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of mechanical and electrical packages on large-scale construction projects, ensuring works meet programme, budget and quality requirements
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and site teams to ensure building services are integrated effectively with the wider construction works
• Reviewing designs, drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues and ensuring design information is available when required
• Monitoring progress against the construction programme, identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep works on track
• Managing procurement, subcontractor performance, costs and variations in collaboration with the commercial team
• Overseeing quality assurance, health and safety compliance, testing and commissioning of building services installations
• Coordinating final inspections, documentation and handover to ensure completed systems meet project specifications and client expectations

A leading construction contractor is looking to recruit an M&E Project Manager to oversee mechanical and electrical services on major construction projects across South Wales. This is an opportunity to join a contractor delivering high-value projects, with schemes reaching up to £80m.
