Job summary

ISS UK Limited is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead planning, execution and on-site delivery of complex projects in London, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, contractual obligations, and client expectations.

Based in London five days a week, you will bridge office planning with field execution on Grade I listed buildings, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors and regulators while maintaining programme delivery and budget discipline.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to manage the planning, execution and on-site delivery of projects within the contract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, health and safety standards and client expectations.

This role combines strategic project management with hands-on site leadership to deliver projects efficiently and effectively.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and driven professional to act as the link between office-based planning and field-based execution, ensuring seamless project delivery.

Based in London five days per week, the role will involve working on Grade I listed buildings where listed building consent and heritage consultancy requirements may apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from planning through to on-site delivery, ensuring completion on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules and programmes throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal teams, contractors, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Ensure project delivery complies with the CCS Government framework, public sector governance requirements and contractual obligations.
• Support procurement and tendering activities, including preparing tender documentation and managing tender processes.
• Oversee site operations and health and safety compliance, ensuring appropriate standards are maintained.
• Monitor project performance against KPIs and SLAs, providing forecasts, reports and project updates.
• Manage project risks, change control processes, variations and project documentation, maintaining accurate records across systems including Tririga, Coupa, Monday.com and SharePoint.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and projects.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle from planning through to delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong budget management and programme delivery skills.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management experience.
• Working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
• Strong understanding of health and safety within a construction or project environment.
• Ability to obtain SC clearance.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong personal drive, accountability and a willingness to take ownership.
• Experience working on projects involving Grade I listed buildings, including coordination of listed building consent and heritage consultancy requirements.
