Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an M&E Planner in London. The successful candidate will manage project planning within M&E Building Services across various sectors including Healthcare and Education. Ideal candidates will possess 1-4 years experience and expertise in Primavera/P6 or Asta Power.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of experience as a Planner.
• Knowledge of working on construction projects from Pre Construction to handover.
• Mechanical/Electrical understanding essential.

Talent Acquisition Lead- MEP Building services & Construction

The Planner will work within M&E Building Services, the project sectors include:Research and Development, Healthcare ,Higher Education and Office Fit Out . Project values range from £5-£35M

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Planner ,the successful candidate will have the following duties:

• Assist with producing programme and labour histograms
• Prepare and monitor programme in line with procurement and delivery agreements
• Plan and monitor project logistics
• Liaising with managers and engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise and revise programme to mitigate delays
• Provide relevant information to the Senior planner for any issues that may need to be raised with the client / contractors
• Attending client meetings, site meetings and subcontractor meetings where required.
• Present information for internal and external meetings on the project

The Planner requirements include:

• 1-4 Years of experience as a Planner
• Mechanical /Electrical understanding is essential
• Knowledge working on construction projects from Pre Construction to handover
• Knowledge of Primavera/P6 or Asta power is essential
