Job summary

Higgins McGrath are seeking an experienced Mechanical / Electrical Estimator based in Clydebank to influence tender decisions from enquiry through to delivery. You will lead take-offs, develop tenders from cost plans to fully designed schemes, and seek value engineering opportunities while managing commercial risks.

The role offers a chance to shape growth for an established MEP business with exposure to commercial, datacentre, defence and utilities frameworks across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experienced estimator with MEP background.
• Experience across commercial, residential, defence, datacentre and utilities is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed take-offs and tender development from cost plans through to fully designed schemes.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and commercial risks.
• Hand successful projects over to the delivery team.
