Job summary

Anthony James Consulting is seeking a proactive M&E Compliance Manager for a permanent onsite role in South Kensington. You will own compliance across a portfolio of buildings, balance technical requirements with stakeholder engagement, and drive timely completion of actions.

The role requires hands-on experience with statutory compliance, PPMs, and robust documentation, plus strong organisational and communication skills to manage demanding stakeholders on a daily basis.

Job Title: M&E Compliance Manager
Location: South Kensington (Onsite - 5 Days per Week)

Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and resilient M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Compliance Manager to join on a permanent basis, taking ownership of compliance across a diverse estate of several buildings in South Kensington. This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can balance technical compliance with strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for M&E compliance across a portfolio of several buildings
• Manage and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and compliance records
• Act as a visible presence across the estate, keeping a close eye on site activities and addressing issues proactively
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Confidently manage and influence challenging customers and stakeholders
• Drive actions to completion, ensuring tasks are delivered efficiently and without delay

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in M&E compliance or maintenance within complex environments
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance, PPMs, and associated documentation
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle demanding stakeholders
• Self-sufficient and comfortable operating without a team to manage
