Job summary

Brookfield M&E Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function across multiple UK projects, ensuring profitability and strong client relationships from pre-construction through final account.

You will supervise a team of Quantity Surveyors, manage budgets and cash flow, and uphold robust contractual and financial controls across the project lifecycle. A track record in M&E or building services is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor role.
• Previous experience within the M&E or Building Services sector.
• Strong knowledge of JCT Design & Build and NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial staff.
• Oversee project budgets, cost reporting and CVR production.
• Produce accurate cash flow forecasts and revenue reports.
• Manage commercial risk across multiple live projects.
• Support and attend client commercial meetings.

• Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC contracts.
• Drive best practice across the commercial department.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and development for your team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

M&E Commercial Manager required, Our client a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering major projects across the UK are looking for a M&E commercial manager due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they looking to appoint an experienced M&E Commercial Manager to lead their commercial team from the Birmingham office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading contractor delivering high-profile projects across the commercial, healthcare, education, residential, data centre and industrial sectors.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial, you will take full responsibility for leading the commercial function across multiple M&E projects, ensuring commercial success from pre-construction through to final account.
