A company that can boast over 15 chartered design engineers and a training programme committed to ensuring that engineers and technicians develop to their full potential.

Our client employs over 60 engineers in their design department. They complete detailed mechanical and electrical design solutions on technically challenging projects.

They are looking for a CAD engineer for a fast-paced, exciting design and build contractor with a strong emphasis on sustainable design solutions.

Often employed directly by end users such as universities or hospitals, our client is trusted with the state-of-the-art design of energy centres, plant rooms, and associated building services.

These projects are typically very large and require complex designs including wide-ranging mechanical and electrical services, BMS control systems, and HV.

The role:

• Producing 3D CAD drawings of mechanical and electrical services
• Site (hands-on) experience would be a benefit but not essential
• Ideally experience of:
• Building services
• HVAC knowledge
• Building regulations
• Understanding document control systems
• CHP / Generators
