Job summary

Stafffinders is seeking an ambitious Associate Director in Transaction Tax to join their tax team, advising private equity funds, portfolio companies, and corporates on complex tax matters across deal lifecycles.

You'll lead tax structuring and due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, collaborate with clients, law firms, and international members, and contribute to business development and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CA/CTA/ADIT or equivalent with UK tax expertise.
• Experience advising on UK corporation tax compliance and/or M&A transactions.
• Exposure to transfer pricing, R&D, VAT, employment taxes, stamp duty, and share transactions or share option schemes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert tax structuring advice and lead tax due diligence on buy-side and sell-side deals.
• Lead discussions with clients and law advisers and manage relationships through the transaction process.
• Prepare structuring reports and assess forecast models, fund flows, and legal documents.
