About the Role

Level: 3

Department: Mergers & Acquisitions

Location: London

Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our growing M&A team in London. You will assist with financial analysis, preparing proposals, managing transaction pipelines, and supporting various M&A activities from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Support financial analysis and presentation of M&A acquisition opportunities.
  2. Assist with financial analysis of investment portfolios.
  3. Produce monthly reports for governance and other committees, develop presentation materials, and maintain organized records.
  4. Manage and log M&A opportunities, including maintaining the M&A Pipeline CRM.
  5. Prepare formal documentation for multiple acquisition stages, such as letters and presentations.
  6. Attend meetings to document decisions and actions.
  7. Perform additional responsibilities as needed, considering the business context.
  8. Engage with internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate

  • Has strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload.

  • Possesses strong communication skills.
  • Is a team player with a good work ethic.
  • Can learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Has knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Has experience working within an M&A team and financial services.
