Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a London-based Corporate Finance Associate to support M&A advisory, financing, and valuation services across a diverse client base. The role emphasizes rigorous financial analysis, modeling, and client interaction in a fast-paced environment.

As part of a collegial, entrepreneurial team, you will craft presentations, build financial models, and lead aspects of engagements while mentoring junior staff. Strong English fluency and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record and a 2:1 or equivalent degree.
• 3–5 years of investment banking experience within M&A/generalist or Industry team; Business Services sector knowledge preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies.
• Advanced financial modeling with strong LBO and DCF skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and explain historical and projected financial information.
• Create financial models.
• Coordinate and perform business due diligence.
• Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations and pitches.
• Value companies and businesses.
• Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
