Job summary

Franklins Solicitors LLP in Milton Keynes and Northampton seeks a Corporate Lawyer to handle all aspects of corporate law for startups through SMEs, including mergers and acquisitions, share schemes, formation and governance.

You will draft constitutional documents, company secretarial paperwork, and related security agreements while building strong client relationships; the firm supports development, flexible working where possible, and a vibrant team culture.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified with PGDL or LPC.
• Demonstrable experience in corporate law.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and to work well under pressure both alone and as part of a team.
• Experience advising startups through to SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Advise on mergers, disposals and acquisitions.
• Assist with share schemes including EMI schemes.
• Prepare and review constitutional documents including Articles of Association; company minutes and resolutions.
• Draft and negotiate facility agreements and corporate security documents.
