Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an Information Governance Assistant to join the Information Governance Team. Based at Foresterhill Lea in Aberdeen, this full‑time, office‑based role supports the delivery of essential governance services across the organisation.

You will handle information requests under information rights legislation, provide data for legal claims, and collaborate with Police Scotland and the Procurator Fiscal.

Information Governance Assistant

Location: Foresterhill Lea, Foresterhill site, Aberdeen (Office Based)

Full Time 36 hours per week

Grade Band 5 - £34,544 - £43,039 per Annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Assistant working within the Information Governance Team.

This post will support the Information Governance Team to deliver an essential service to the whole of NHS Grampian.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s obligation to respond to a variety of access to information requests including the provision of data for Legal Claims, requests under information rights legislation and for Police Scotland and the Procurator Fiscal.

NHS Grampian seeks a highly motivated candidate with excellent organisational skills, educated to degree level in records/information management or equivalent qualification/experience. If you are adaptable, able to balance competing priorities, have good communication and strong IT skills and welcome a challenge, we would be delighted to receive your application.
