Job summary

Quartzelec Ltd is seeking a JIB Approved Electrician to join their Wrexham LV Team, based in Belfast. This field-based role involves the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electronic security systems, prioritizing high service delivery and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge in security systems and the ability to work independently and as a team player. Candidates must pass BS7858:2019 security screening and an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with security systems is required.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of electronic security systems.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and commissioning of Electronic Security Systems.
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Diagnosing faults and completing corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Responding to emergency call-outs and participating in standby rota.
• Undertaking fault finding, testing, and remedial works.

Job description

We are looking for aJIB Approved Electricianto join our Wrexham LV Team, This is a field-based position with a primary site base in Belfastsupporting key client locations.

Reporting to a Contract Manager, you will play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of a range of electronic security systems, ensuring high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, and commissioning of Electronic Security Systems
• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
• Diagnosing faults and completing corrective maintenance and repairs
• Responding to emergency call-outs and participating in standby rota
• Undertaking fault finding, testing, and remedial works

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience and strong technical knowledge across a range of security systems, including:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Due to the nature of our work, all successful applicants must be able to pass:

• BS7858:2019 security screening
• Enhanced DBS check
