CP Management Solutions LTD is seeking experienced LV/AP Testers for major commercial fit-out and data centre projects across Central and West London. You will inspect and test LV installations, energise/de-energise as required, and ensure documentation and safety standards are met on live sites.

Ideal candidates hold City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) and have proven LV/AP testing experience. A full UK driving licence and ability to work on site are essential for this long-term role.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing is required.
• Previous experience as LV/AP Tester on live commercial projects.
• Experience in commercial fit-out and/or data centre environments.
• Strong understanding of LV electrical systems and testing procedures.
• Knowledge of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and document testing clearly.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced

LV/AP Testers to join a leading electrical engineering team working across major

commercial fit-out and data centre projects in Central and West London.

The successful candidates will have a strong background in electrical inspection and testing, with previous experience carrying out the LV/AP Tester role on live construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical inspection and testing of LV electrical installations.

Undertake energisation and de-energisation activities in accordance with authorised procedures.

Complete electrical testing, certification and associated documentation accurately.

Ensure all testing and installation works comply with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and company procedures.

Follow safe systems of work and maintain the highest standards of health and safety.

Assist with fault finding, verification and commissioning of electrical installations.

Work closely with engineers, supervisors, commissioning teams and other site personnel.

Support the successful delivery of major commercial fit-out and data centre projects.

Maintain accurate records of testing and commissioning activities.

Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Inspection & Testing.

Previous experience working specifically as an

LV/AP Tester.

Proven experience carrying out electrical inspection and testing on commercial projects.

Experience within

commercial fit-out and/or data centre environments.

Strong understanding of LV electrical systems, testing procedures and safe energisation practices.

Good knowledge of electrical installation standards and health & safety requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team.

Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills.

Existing LV Authorised Person (AP) experience.

Previous experience on large-scale commercial fit-out projects.

Experience working on complex LV systems and commissioning environments.

Full UK Driving Licence.
