Job summary

Soho House is seeking a waiter who delivers refined, attentive service to members and guests. You will work with floor and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth dining experience that reflects the Club’s standards of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, making recommendations, and processing payments. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and uphold exceptional service throughout the member’s visit.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Hospitable and respectful towards guests and colleagues.
• Able to follow training schedules and Club School requirements.
• Capable of taking direction and working both in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet members, introduce menus, and engage upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely, correct order delivery.
• Provide menu recommendations, including food and drink pairings.
• Maintain top-tier table service and proactively top up beverages.
• Ensure a pristine environment and reset tables as needed.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations with flexibility.
• Process payments via card, Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Maintain discretion and professionalism with VIPs and PWKs.
• Attend briefings, tastings, and assist colleagues as needed.
