Job summary

AWD Online is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a modern, high-tech workshop in Chelmsford. You will diagnose, repair and service a range of luxury vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring retail-ready condition.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 (or Level 2) in motor vehicle repair, strong diagnostics skills and a clean UK driving licence. Enjoy excellent earning potential and growth in a high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in motor vehicle repair preferred; Level 2 also acceptable.
• Previous experience in vehicle repair, servicing, or workshop roles.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools; familiar with mechanical, electrical and electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics and mechanical repairs to high standards.
• Perform servicing and quality checks to retailer-ready levels.
• Install accessories and components as specified by sales team.
• Maintain accurate work records for warranty compliance.
• Diagnose faults and recommend effective repair solutions.
• Keep workshop tidy, safe and well-organised.
