Job summary

DERTOUR UK in Bluewater seeks an experienced Travel Consultant to join our store. This 4-day role requires delivering personalised holidays and a high level of service to customers, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

You’ll combine knowledge of luxury travel with the Kuoni/DERTOUR product range, selling tailor-made itineraries and coordinating with third-party partners to match client desires and budgets.

Qualifications

• Passionate and enthusiastic about travel
• Experience selling and designing tailor-made holidays
• Knowledge of third party products
• Experience thriving in a sales environment
• Able to manage own time effectively in a busy retail setting
• Experience with booking systems or quick to learn new systems

Responsibilities

• Talk with customers to design holidays that match interests and budget
• Deliver personal service and inspire excitement for travel in-store
• Act as customer concierge from booking to travel
• Work toward monthly sales targets and build relationships with suppliers
• Participate in ongoing training and career progression
• Support a friendly, inclusive and proactive store environment
