Job summary

Senior Salmon in Sutton-in-Ashfield is seeking a confident Supervisor to lead a 10+-strong production team within a luxury textiles facility. The role blends hands-on production with leadership, planning and supporting the Production Manager to ensure smooth workflows during peak periods.

You will oversee multiple textile machines, coordinate daily schedules, maintain high quality standards and coach staff on safe, efficient practices, while stepping in on the shop floor to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 10+ production operatives.
• Proven track record of maintaining high quality in textiles.
• Ability to plan tasks and allocate workloads efficiently.
• Experience coaching and guiding staff on safe, efficient practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily scheduling and workload planning.
• Quality control across luxury textile products.
• Training and guiding team members on processes and safety.
• Overseeing production equipment such as guillotines and sewing machines.
• Problem solving to keep production on track and within deadlines.
• Providing hands-on support on the shop floor when needed.
