Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Spa Supervisor to support daily spa and wellness operations, maintaining a calm, luxurious environment for members and guests while meeting service and financial targets. You will lead the spa team, ensure cleanliness, and uphold brand standards.

The role requires 2–3 years in a spa supervisory role, a recognised spa therapy qualification, and strong leadership with excellent guest service and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a therapist or spa supervisory role.
• Recognised spa, massage, or beauty therapy qualification (e.g., NVQ, ITEC, CIBTAC, CIDESCO).
• Experience in a luxury spa, hotel, or private members club setting.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily operations of the spa and wellness areas, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and member satisfaction.
• Lead the spa team in delivering high-quality services including massage, facials, and body treatments, adhering to brand and treatment protocols.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of therapists and spa attendants.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all health & safety, hygiene, and licensing standards.
• Maintain spa ambience and standards across treatment rooms, relaxation areas, and changing facilities.
• Assist the Spa Manager with stock control, supplier liaison, and inventory management.
• Help manage guest bookings, treatment schedules, and coordination with reception.
• Respond professionally to member and guest feedback or concerns. Create efficient staff rotas, manage labour costs, and reduce unnecessary overtime to maintain operational excellence.
• Uphold and enforce standards of appearance, compliance, safety, and professionalism across the team.
