Job summary

ML Projects UK is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead luxury fashion retail fit-outs across the UK and Europe. You will own the delivery from RIBA Stage 4 through to store opening, coordinating design, procurement, site delivery and handover.

You will manage concurrent projects ranging £350k to £2M+, drive programmes, control costs, and ensure flagship-standard execution while working closely with clients, landlords, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years on-site delivery with a main contractor, fit-out contractor, or client-side PM.
• Track record delivering luxury retail or high-specification fit-outs in the £350k–£2M+ range.
• Experience with RIBA Stages 4-7 from Technical Design to Handover.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015 roles and responsibilities.
• Experience in shopping centre, department store, or estate-managed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead site delivery from possession through to handover with regular progress meetings.
• Interrogate contractor programmes, identify critical path risk, and drive the programme.
• Conduct regular site inspections and manage snagging, sign-offs, and handover.
• Prepare BOQs, run tenders, and manage cost control and variations.
• Administer JCT contracts and monitor payments and final accounts.
• Coordinate design information and RFIs between internal teams and contractors.
