Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the fit-out phase of a £28 million private residence in Windermere, Cumbria. This freelance role demands a professional with a proven track record in high-end residential finishes and strict quality standards.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensure safety and programme adherence, and coordinate multiple trades to deliver a premium final finish for a discerning client.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential, luxury fit-out, or premium residential projects.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out, finishes, MEP coordination, and commissioning processes.
• Valid SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme delivery.
• Strong focus on quality, client satisfaction, and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage all site activities throughout the fit-out phase.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist trades.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with programme requirements.
• Monitor quality standards and oversee snag-free delivery.
• Maintain site health and safety compliance at all times.
• Conduct site meetings and progress reporting.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants, designers, and client representatives.
• Manage logistics, sequencing, and workforce planning.
• Ensure all documentation and site records are maintained accurately.
