Lead Site Manager — Luxury Interior Fit-Outs

Job summary

Portview is recruiting for a Site Manager to oversee high-end fit-out projects in the Greater London area. You will manage all on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and timely delivery, and work closely with the Contracts Manager and clients to achieve The Perfect Fit.

The role requires substantial hands-on leadership on site, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proven track record in similar projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering high-end fit-out projects.
• Qualified tradesperson with a proven track record for quality.
• CSCS card at Management level.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations.
• Experience coordinating and installing services.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents.
• Basic IT skills including Outlook.
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Commitment to equal opportunities.
• Desirable: First aider qualification, Construction Management degree or equivalent, Relevant H&S qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operatives and manage daily on-site activities.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks and ensure PPE compliance.
• Coordinate drawings, schedules and ensure fixtures fit as designed.
• Coordinate subcontractors and monitor productivity and timeliness.
• Ensure snag-free delivery and maintain high quality finish.
• Collaborate with QS, buying, CAD and accounts for efficient outcomes.
• Lead and develop site staff with performance management and development planning.
• Coordinate subcontractors’ tools, dates and programmes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized site.
• Interpret drawings and keep drawings up to date.
