Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations across all guest-facing and back-of-house areas. You will lead, train, and motivate the team to uphold premium standards of cleanliness and presentation, while coordinating with FOH, events and maintenance for seamless service.

The role emphasizes staff development, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols, with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences within a luxury hospitality

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory or senior attendant role, ideally within luxury hospitality or private clubs
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, guest service, and back-of-house procedures
• Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving
• Working knowledge of housekeeping systems or software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas (rooms, public spaces, offices, and staff areas) are cleaned and maintained to high standards
• Conduct daily inspections and audits of guest areas, restrooms, lounges, and event spaces, addressing any deficiencies immediately
• Support training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they understand club standards, procedures, and safety expectations
• Create and adjust daily work schedules and task lists based on occupancy, events, and business levels
• Liaise with front of house, events, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and prompt response to member needs
• Monitor housekeeping stock levels (e.g. cleaning supplies, linen, amenities) and assist with inventory control
• Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations, and ensure compliance with COSHH and manual handling practices
• Address member or guest feedback regarding cleanliness or housekeeping promptly and professionally
• Lead by example, promoting a positive team environment and strong work ethic
