Job summary

Champneys Forest Mere is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our full-time team. You will service guest bedrooms and public areas to luxury standards, maintaining discretion and care in every interaction.

You will prepare rooms, manage trolleys and stock, report maintenance issues, and support housekeeping and laundry duties while upholding COSHH safety guidelines and the brand's commitment to guest wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Must maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to work quietly and respectfully in guest areas.
• Willingness to participate in training and improve standards.

Responsibilities

• Servicing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to Champagne standards, ensuring cleanliness, presentation and comfort
• Preparing rooms so they feel calm, inviting and ready for guests to relax from the moment they arrive
• Maintaining tidy corridors and working areas, ensuring guest privacy and discretion at all times
• Keeping housekeeping trolleys and stock rooms well organised and fully stocked
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage or stock shortages promptly to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Responding politely and professionally to guest requests in line with company procedures
• Attending team meetings and training, with a willingness to continually improve standards and skills
• Following all health, safety and fire procedures at all times
• Using cleaning products and equipment responsibly and in line with COSHH guidance
• Maintaining high standards of personal presentation, punctuality and conduct
• Working with discretion and confidentiality in all guest areas
