Job summary

Christchurch Harbour Hotel is seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our front-of-house team. You will deliver warm, professional service and handle guest check-ins, check-outs and inquiries with a smile.

The successful candidate will have at least one year of hotel reception experience and a friendly, outgoing personality. Familiarity with OPERA or Reslynx would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hotel reception experience.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Knowledge of OPERA or Reslynx reservations systems is a plus, training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and manage check-in/check-out efficiently.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.
• Process guest payments and upsell hotel services where appropriate.
