Job summary

Elsyng House in Enfield is seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our team. You will support meal service, keep water jugs filled, set up and clear tables, and attend to residents’ non-care needs with a friendly, professional touch.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, day and weekend shifts, and a pay rate of £13.20 per hour. You’ll work with the Head Chef, Reception, Housekeeping and Lifestyles teams to deliver exceptional hospitality in a care home setting.

Qualifications

• Essential: Previous experience of working in a similar role within a luxurious setting.
• Essential: 'Can do' attitude and willingness to support residents with quality service.
• Essential: Customer-facing experience including building working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with meal service in resident rooms or dining rooms.
• Ensuring water/drink jugs are regularly refilled in resident rooms.
• Help set up and clear down tables before and after lunch service.
• Maintain temperature records of fridges and service stations in the dining rooms.
• Maintain the Bistro to ensure a professional offering, fully stocked.
• Attend to residents’ non-care related needs (e.g., opening/closing curtains, changing TV channels).
