Job summary

Holland Cooper in Cheltenham, UK, seeks a Garment Technologist to ensure technical integrity, fit and quality from proto through production. Collaborate across Design, Merchandising, Production and suppliers to translate concepts into commercially viable products.

You will plan fit sessions, update specs and maintain technical documentation in PLM, while resolving quality issues and meeting critical deadlines for luxury garments.

Qualifications

• Strong Garment Construction and Fitting skills with ability to interpret patterns and measurements.
• Solid knowledge of textiles for luxury tailoring and outerwear.
• Experience in quality control and garment testing.
• Effective communication across design, production and suppliers.
• Previous garment technologist experience in fashion or outerwear preferred.
• Proficiency with pattern-cutting software, CAD or PLM systems.
• Qualification in Fashion Technology, Textile Science or Garment Technology recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical integrity, fit and quality of garments from proto to production.
• Translate concepts into technically sound products meeting brand standards.
• Plan and attend fit sessions with supplier comments.
• Develop and maintain technical specs, size charts and documentation in PLM.
• Identify and resolve quality issues with suppliers and testing partners.
• Meet critical path deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
