Job summary

RW Armstrong & Sons is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our team in London and the South of England on high-end projects. You will collaborate with the project team to deliver complex builds safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, combining practical trade knowledge with developing management responsibilities.

You will plan activities, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and help maintain client satisfaction while supporting project administration and documentation control.

Qualifications

• Completed Trade Apprenticeship.
• SMSTS certificate and First Aid certificate.
• Experience supervising construction sites and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly site activities to align with the construction programme.
• Manage site operations, guide labour and subcontractors, and balance hands-on trade work with growing management responsibility.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality and sign-off processes are followed.
• Identify risks, manage hazards, and maintain SHE documentation.
