Job summary

Brookwater House, part of Hamberley Care Homes in Enfield, is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean, hygienic spaces and manage laundry for residents. The role emphasizes dignity, respect and high standards in a luxury care setting.

You will support the care team, handle laundry with sensitivity to personal belongings, and ensure stock of housekeeping supplies. A customer-focused, flexible attitude and prior care-home experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous domestic experience in a similar care home setting.
• Flexible and reliable attitude.
• Committed to customer care and first-class service provision.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the supply of clean laundry and housekeeping service throughout the home.
• Ensure all areas of the care home are clean, hygienic and well-maintained.
• Handle laundry and linen care with attention to residents' personal belongings.
• Interact with residents, offering assistance when needed to help them feel at ease.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages to the manager.
• Work closely with caregivers and other staff to support the overall care plan and home operations.
