Job summary

The Egerton House Hotel, part of The Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is seeking a Breakfast Chef de Partie for a part-time role. 3 days per week, 6:30am-3pm, reporting to the Executive Chef. You’ll deliver breakfast service with high standards in a luxury setting, ensuring consistency in food quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• At least two years as a Commis Chef
• Passion for food and presentation
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergens (certifications a plus)
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to lead and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Flexible and resilient under pressure

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining experiences with highest quality dishes
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on menu planning and prep
• Follow recipes and presentation standards precisely
• Maintain portion control and minimise waste
• Monitor stock levels and ensure quality aligns with standards
• Supervise and support junior chefs and kitchen porters
• Mentor team on Red Carnation culinary standards
